Ageing Nepal (AN) and Hope Hermitage Nepal (HHN) in collaboration with Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare (MoWCSW) and in support of Ageing Nepal Switzerland organized a 10 day’s long elderly care training programme from Feb. 15, 2016 to Feb 27, 2016. The programme was focused on policies and programmes on ageing, rights of older people, consequences of elder abuse, elderly health, Alzheimer’s and related dementia and way to cope elderly with different personality as caregiver in day to day life. In the context of Nepal, culturally the female are more responsible to provide care for the child and elderly. So large number of female (24) were involved than that of male (2) in the training.
Hope Hermitage Nepal (HHN) and Ageing Nepal (AN) in support from Ageing Nepal Switzerland (ANS), organized a 30-Day-long elderly caregiver training program; the workshop training was held from July18 – 27, 2019, the venue for the training was set at Nepal Police Hospital, Government of Nepal, Kathmandu and the practical session that was held from (Shrawan 2 – 11, 2076) July 28 – August 17 (Shrawan 11 – 32, 2076) at Hope Hermitage Elderly Care home at Gairidhara, Kathmandu.
