  • Continued publication of monthly e-newsletter, continued Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA)-a common platform for sharing knowledge on ageing issues and Ageing Research Fellowship- a programme that supports three Master/M.Phil level students to conduct their thesis on ageing issues.
  • Observed International Day of Education and International Women’s Day in relation to older people.
  • Conducted programmes in Okhaldunga and Khotang districts (i) interaction programmes for local government representatives of Manebhanjyang rural municipality, Okhaldunga district and Halesi Tuwachung municipality , Khotang district (ii) Interaction programme for representatives of social organizations (iii) started weekly radio programmes in both district.
  • Facilitated Ms. Ishwari Swar to attend the 10th session of Open Ended Working Group on Ageing from 15 to 18 April.
  • Handed over Basic Literacy Class for Older Persons of Baudha-6 to the local government for continuation.
  • Supported Global Alliance for the Rights of Older Persons (GAROP) to prepare a report on Our Voice Our Rights.
  • Participated in two days Asia- Pacific Workshop on Developing Tools to Measure Inclusive and Active Population Ageing from 27-28 June 2019, United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok.
  • Arranged a platform to present a paper on “Older People Living in Extreme Poverty in Bangladesh” by Mr. Owasim Akram, a PhD fellow from "Örebro University, Sweden".
  • Started a Basic Literacy Class for Older Persons in Devi Nagar, Baneshwor-10, Kathmandu in collaboration with Senior Citizen’s Welfare Association Nepal (SCWN).
  • Handed over Basic Literacy Class for Older Persons of Gokarneshwor Municpality-5 to the local government for continuation.
  • Oriented local government representatives including Deputy Mayor of Gokarneshwor municipality on ageing issues.
  • Observed International Days of Older Persons 2019 in partnership with HelpAge International, national organizations and local organizations.
  • Shared the success stories of "Basic Literacy Class for Older Persons" on the 29th anniversary celebration of International Day of Older Persons (IDOP) at UN Headquarters, New York.
  • Organized a week long campaign in observance of Universal Health Coverage Day 2019 with support from UHC 2030 and in collaboration with National and local organizations.
  • Handed over certificates to the winners of Ageing Research Fellowship 2019.
