  • Continued publication of monthly e-newsletter and Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA)-a common platform for sharing knowledge on ageing issues
  • Continued Ageing Research Fellowship
  • Conducted a month-long “Caregivers Training on Geriatric Care” to 25 trainees.
  • Conducted a week campaign on Global Rally.
  • Celebrated World Health Day 2023
  • Conducted a Consultation on Barriers and Possible Solutions to Access Right to Health for Older Persons in Nepal with support from HelpAge International under small grant project for UHC Advocacy.
  • Sanju Thapa Magar, CEO participated in Women Deliver 2023 Conference in Kigali, Rwanda from 17-20 July.
  • Facilitated three days’ Caregiver Training on Geriatric Care to representatives of social organisations conducted by Ministry of Social Development, Sudurpachim Province Government.
  • Sanju Thapa Magar, CEO, participated as a panelist and moderator in a Workshop on “Advocating for the strengthening of the international framework for the promotion and protection of the human rights of older persons for national human rights institutions in the Asia and the Pacific region” conducted by National Human Rights Commission of Korea and Philippines Commission on Human Rights in Manila, Philippines on 29-30 August.
  • Pabitra Adhikari, Programme Director and Sanju Thapa Magar, CEO, participated in a workshop on Developing and Delivering Long-Term Care in the Community – A Systems Perspective organized by TSAO Foundation in Singapore on 7-10 September.
  • Conducted a week long campaign on Act for SDGs with support from Action for Sustainable Development (15th-25th September).
  • Started a weekly Television programme “Ageing” in collaboration with News Nepal.
  • Conducted Photo Exhibition and eye camp on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons.
  • Submitted papers on Identification of possible gaps in the protection of the human rights of older persons and how best to address them
  • Prapti Gautam, Public Health Officer participated in the 7th Asian and Pacific Population Conference organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Asia and the Pacific.
  • Facilitated three days’ Caregiver Training on Geriatric Care to the representatives of Day Care Centers and Old Age Homes conducted by the Ministry of Social Development, Sudurpachim Province Government.
  • Conducted free dental camp and mobilized mass media on the occasion of Universal Health Coverage 2023.
