Launched Caregiver Training on Geriatric Care for 30 caregivers of different care homes.
Conducted training to Female Community Health Volunteers of Namobuddha Municipality under JPP and started home visit programme for older people. FCHV are regularly monitoring the blood pressure of targeted older people and providing health awareness sessions.
Conducted two trainings for Caregivers of care homes. Eighteen caregivers from different care homes received the training under JPP.

Sanju Thapa Magar, Ageing Nepal participated in the "Regional Workshop on the Development of a Practical Guide for the Implementation of Intergenerational Engagement Programmes", held from 27 to 29 October 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Organised two hybrid workshops at the Asia Pacific Social Forum 2025 in Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand on 4th November. Sanju Thapa Magar played an active role throughout the process, serving as a moderator, facilitator, and contributing to the drafting of the declaration.

Represented Ageing Nepal and shared the solutions to promote healthy and active ageing in a virtual solution session titled “From Potential to Progress: Empowering Every Generation for Social Development in Asia and Africa” on the occasion of Second World Summit for Social Development hosted by Age Knowble on 6th November.
Presented a brief overview of the project “Strengthening the Capacity of Older People and Their Concerned Stakeholders” at the Asia Pacific Geriatrics Network 2025 Conference, organized by the Asia Pacific Geriatrics Network and Geriatric Society Nepal on 6th December 2025.

Commemorated National Senior Citizens Day 2082 by undertaking the following activities: Published an article entitled “Respect and Honor Towards Senior Citizens” , facilitated an orientation session on “Rights of Older Persons” organized by Budhanilkantha Municipality, facilitated an orientation session on “Issues of Older Persons” organized by Nagarjun Municipality, conducted mass mobilization activities to raise awareness on senior citizens’ rights and participated in the main celebration program organized by the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens.
